A Tale of Chubby Buddies

Best friends - A person who stands behind in all ups and downs; A person one who makes you to do crazy things and who feels jealous when you are close to others. A person who makes all your fun moments memorable. A caretaker.

A secret keeper; A person one who reads your dirty minds; A guru one who teaches all the bad habits; A foodie monster one who never let you eat without them; One who always give worst compliments; A  true-blue friend; A person who is non-judgmental

A person who accepts you as you are; A person who is there to solve your problems; A person who makes efforts to see a smile in your face; on who does a million silly things and makes you anger; A person who calls at midnight and share all the stupid ideas;

A person one who never backstab; one who accepts all our naughtiness; one who turns into detective when finding your mischief; One who do surprises badly (informs about surprises); One who believes in our potential;

This blog is a dedication to my best friend (a Guardian- Angel) on this occasion of Friendship Day!

Everyone has a special friend in their life. When there is a day for friendship, I thought of writing a story of two strangers who turned out to be the Best friends.

Two strangers named Tinku and Minku joined college for higher studies from different cities.

They first met in the hostel. During the first meet, It was like a usual talk between strangers. They were in the big dormitory room accompanied by 15 members in the hostel.

Both were roommates. Then all the roommates were together and they all went together to college and they all were moving for dinner at a mess hall with a group of 15 friends.

Later it has changed out to a small group of friends where Tinku and Minku were in that small gang. They started sharing their stories in a past life. They both were supporting each other and their thoughts were similar in some topics.

An incident takes place which made both of them know about each other care and love. Tinku fell ill one day and she was badly missing her home. Here comes her angel friend who makes her feel better and looks after her with great care. This incident has changed their level of friendship stronger.

After a few days passes by Tinku found a very good connection with Minku in all ways. Starting from food habits, choices, likes and the list goes on.

The journey starts there. They had fun in their college days with a gang of friends and they started roaming around places and had a good time in college as well as a hostel.

They had some silly fights between them always and still, the bond continues the same. Minku is fond of chocolates and after the fight ends Tinku gives her chocolate to see a bright smile on her face.

Then the friendship has strongly built and became besties. They had evening walks only for the search of snacks on the roadsides. It has become a routine for both of them to have an evening snack and both would escape from the hostel and roaming around the small shops. They became regular customers in their favorite shops.

Their most favorite place in the college was the Canteen. The most amount of the time has been spent in that place.

During the weekend, they felt too bored in staying hostel. So they planned to make a visit to Minku’s home. During the first visit, Tinku became close to the moms of Minku. The whole family is affectionate towards Tinku. Tinku got another mom in a new city.

Tinku visited the Minku’s house occasionally and became an extension member of the family. Tinku was melted with the affection of the mom's love of Minku.

College day was moving on and semester exams started and everything went well. Their weekends were spent watching movies and food orders from Swiggy and Zomato.

Tinku has a habit of surprising loved ones. She surprised Minku with exciting gifts. One day when Minku went outing, Tinku secretly planned a surprise and bought her a big red teddy (which was her favorite one) and placed it in her cot. When Minku enters the room she was a bit shocked that someone is lying in her bed and then the surprise was revealed with a great shock.

After a year they got an opportunity of moving to a new place for the project work. Minku was a little bit worried about shifting to a new place but Tinku managed somehow and made her feel comfortable. But still, Minku was not able to adapt to the new environment.

One of the worst days came into their life, Where Minku totally misunderstood about Tinku’s behavior after moving to this place. Then they had all their arguments and moved on to the level of breaking their friendship. A few days later, Their terrible fight came to an end with a great level of understanding.

Even though Minku has discomfort feel, to change her mindset they used this chance and wandered and roamed all places in and around. Enjoyed during weekends even they don't have enough money. Their favorite spot was a beach. Tinku forgets herself when she enters the beach and she can even spend a whole day there. Their project got over and they moved back to college life.

They were in the final days of college life. Tinku has come out with a plan to roam around all the places by the end of the last semester. Because It was their last days of college life. So both visited all the famous tourist spots in the city and had great memories.

Placements started and both were placed in different companies. They were quite felt bad for getting placement in different sectors.

At last a final day a farewell came and they were all in tears. Both were shifted to new cities to start the next phase of life.

And the unbreakable bond of friendship still continues the same.
